In particular, the present invention relates to an inkjet recording head having a slit nozzle capable of plane scanning.

During recording, a voltage corresponding to image information is applied to these control electrodes, and the ink near the electrodes to which the voltage is applied is charged, so that the ink is attracted toward the recording paper.

Therefore, by applying a voltage to the control electrode, the ink is charged. Therefore, when a voltage is applied, the potential of the control electrode rises with a certain time constant. This time constant is determined by the shape and electrical conditions of the ink in contact with each control electrode.

For this reason,
The capacitance of the control electrode becomes almost uniform, and the amount of charge of the ink on the control electrode also becomes uniform. Therefore, recording using uniform ink droplets is possible. However, among the many control electrodes arranged in parallel, the control electrodes near both ends have no or only a few control electrodes adjacent to one side, so the electrical conditions of the control electrodes are not uniform. Therefore, the capacitance of the control electrodes near both ends is larger than the capacitance of the control electrodes not near both ends due to the large amount of ink on the side without the control electrodes.
