Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a highly reliable optical disk free from impurities and defects by forming a protective film and a label printing film on the optical disk successively by a continuous process. CONSTITUTION:The optical disk 21 on which a reflective film is formed is placed on a tray 22. At first, it passes through a protective film forming device 15 and a protective film is formed. Then, the tray 22 is carried by a carrying device 23 to a label print film forming device 16 by consecutive process. A printed film is printed by a screen printing device 19, hardened by a hardening device 20 and a printed film is formed. These are processed by the consecutive process and the protective film and the label print film are formed on the disk 21 on which a reflective film is provided. By above method, the optical disk free from impurities and defects can be obtained as the adhesion of contamination does not occur.

中にゴミやホコリなどのコンタミネーションの付着がな
いため不純物や欠陥の含まれない信頼性の高い光ディス
クが得られる。しかも連続した工程を同一装置内に有す
ることによシ量産性に富んだ安定した安価な光ディスク
を提供することができる。
