Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform all operations on the front of the copying machine and to facilitate the handling in the feeding of, specially, copying paper of special size more by providing a manual insertion slit to part of the top surface part of the copying machine and providing a guide part for copying paper inserted into the paper feed slit on the original cover of an original platen. CONSTITUTION:A console panel 2 is arranged at the top surface part of the copying machine body 1 closely to an operator, a copying paper feed cassette 3 and a discharge tray 4 are provided under the front part, and an original platen 5, an original cover 6, and the manual insertion slit 10 for thick copying paper 9 which is arranged at its inner side and used for both-surface copying are provided at the top surface part of the main body. もの、更に正面部から装填された該給紙カセットから供
給される複写紙は転写後後面部の排出皿に受けられると
いうような方式のものが採用されていた。

ぎて疲れるという問題もあり、保全性も良好といえるも
のではなかった。本発明はこのような問題点を解決する
ために、すべての操作が該複写機の正面にいてできるよ
うにし、特に特殊サイズ複写紙の給紙の扱いをより容易
にした複写機を提供することを目的とする。

入れる該特殊サイズ複写紙9を核子差し口までガイドす
るための案内機構25が設けられている。そして該案内
機構は使用する複写紙9の巾の大きさに合わせて両サイ
ドのガイド板26−a 、 26−bを調節して該ガイ
ド板間の距離を所要の大きさl。に設定することができ
るようになっていて、正確にしかも容易に該複写紙9の
送りの位置決めと方向を定めることができる。原稿カバ
ー6で原稿を保持した状態にあるときは、この案内機構
は、核子差し口に自然に付加連結されることになるので
、操作者のより近い位置で咳複写紙9の送りごみを扱う

排出パレット上に回収されるが、紙の柔軟性が良好であ
るため180°Uターンにも支障なく対応できるが、葉
書や図書分類カード等の厚手の特殊複写紙9は柔軟性が
低下し、急激な180°Uターンには堪えられなく搬送
不良を起すことになるので本発明では180°Uターン
を避けて別口から送り込み搬送シュート150曲率半径
凡の大きいゆるいカーブで90’° ターンさせるよう
にして安定した搬送を行わせることを意図した。また案
内機構25を経て手差し口10から搬送シュート15に
向う経路もゆるいカーブでターン出来るようにしである
ので搬送性は円滑になっている。

手前の低い側を原稿の露光走査の基準とすることができ
るので、原稿台の最低辺に基準壁22を設け、原稿の基
準側の縁辺が自重のたすけもかりて突当るようにしてあ
り、原稿の原稿台上での載置操作が極めて容易になるよ
うに作用する。
