には該照射記録領域の温度がキ^リ一点以上に高められ
該記録領域の磁化の向きはバイアス磁場の向きに反転せ
しめられ、ビームスポット強度が小さい場合には記録領
域の磁化の向きはそのままである。かくして、媒体には
磁化の向きをパターンとする情報トラックが形成される
。かくして情報の記録された媒体から情報を再生するに
際しては、媒体の記録i4ターンに対し磁化反転を生ぜ
しめない程度の一定の強さのレーザビームをスポット状
に照射し、該記録パターンによシ変調を受けた反射光ま
たは透過光を受光素子へと導く。そして、該受光素子に
おいて光電変換によシ再生情報信号が得られる。また、
記録媒体に記録された情報を消去するに際しては、バイ
アス磁場を記録時とは反転せしめた上で媒体の記録Aタ
ーンに対し磁化反転を生せしめる程度の一定の強さのレ

が1回多く、情報記録に比較的長い時間が必要であるこ
とを意味している。近年においては次第に記録の高速化
が求められる様になってきており、この点で上記の装置
は未だ満足すべきものとはいえないO
そこで、記録の高速化をはかるべく、第4図に示される
様な装置が提案されている。第4図は光磁気記録再生装
