Description
【考案の詳細な説明】
本考案は原木丸太を連続的に剥削して、合板製
造用の単板を製造する装置(以下、ロータリーレ
ースと言う)の改良に関する。従来、ロータリー
レースは原木丸太の中心を一対のスピンドルで保
持しながら回転させ、ナイフの付いたかんな台を
駆動ネジの回転力によつてすべり台上を移動させ
て丸太の外周に接触させながら所定の距離ずつ前
進させて所定厚さの単板を連続的に剥削し、ナイ
フがスピンドルに接触する直前まで接近させて出
来る限り多量の単板を得ようとし、ついで原木の
直経が、スピンドルの直経とほぼ等しくなつた時
点でかんな台の駆動ネジを逆回転させながらスピ
ンドルの間隔を開いて原木の剥芯を土間上に落下
させ、つづいて新しい原木丸太を再びスピンドル
で保持し、駆動ネジを正回転させながら、再びか
んな台を原木丸太に接近させて剥削する操作を繰

すなわち本考案のロータリーレースはすべり台1
上に摺動自在に施置されたかんな台2が駆動ネジ
3の回転力によつて移動する構造のロータリーレ
ースにおいて、かんな台2は駆動ネジ3と嵌合、
離反が自由で、かつかんな台2が駆動ネジ3以外
の駆動装置4によつても移動することを特徴とし
たロータリーレースに係わり、
その最も特徴とする所は、ナイフの刃台をも含
むかんな台を駆動させる長ネジと、その長ネジに
嵌合するかんな台とのネジが嵌合・離反自在に構
成されており、かつかんな台は長ネジの駆動のみ
によらない方法で高速移動出来る構造とすること
にある。以下、本考案を実施例を示す図面ととの

力などにより駆動ネジ3のネジ山と嵌合・離反す
る様に構成されている。一方刃台5を含むかんな
台2はその端部が油圧や空気或いは磁力などによ
り急速に伸縮するアーム8を有する構成の駆動装
