Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the cruising performance of a cruiser at the time of high waves and position the center of buoyancy at the rear part of its hull by installing a submerged wing body in the shape of an inverted T in its cross section and stretching substantially fore and aft in its longitudinal section and forming a negative angle of incidence causing downward dynamic lift. CONSTITUTION:At the down side of a bow part a wing body 1 is attached through a strut 2, while a pair of rudders 5 and a pair of propellers 6 are installed beneath the bottom of a stern part. The wing body 1 is installed on the strut 2 in such a manner as to shape an inverted T, forming a flat plate being long fore and aft. うに正面からみて水平な直線となった形状である必要は

簡素な構成で、高速航行時の波浪外力による飛び上がり
を抑制し、船体運動を抑制して耐航性を大幅に向上させ
ることができるぽかりでなく、船体の浮力中心が極端に
前方に位置することがなくなるため、居住区等を含む船
体上部構造を船体運動の小さい後方寄りの部分に配置す
ることがで鰺る利点もある。
