CONSTITUTION:When the movable platen A is moved horizontally, a small pinion 2, meshing with a rack 1, is turned and the rack 4 is moved up-and-down through a large pinion 3 while a running carriage 5 travels on a rail simultane ously with the movement of the rack 4. The chuck 6, attached to the movable carriage 5, moves to the direction (a) (b) in conjunction with the mold closing operation of the movable platen A but, on the contrary, the chuck 6 moves to the direction (b) (a) upon the mold opening stroke and grasps the molded product at the position (a) while it releases the product at the position (b).
