転側密封要素の内周近傍部に、回転方向に対して
一定方向に傾斜し後背面と摺動面とを連通する所
要数のフラツシング孔を穿設し、かつ前記摺動面
に、該フラツシング孔の摺動面側開口部より摺動
面外周側へ延び、放射方向に対して一定方向に傾
斜した適宜形状のフラツシング溝を形成して、運
転時、密封流体を摺動面に強制的に流動せしめる
構成になることを特徴とする高速高圧用メカニカ
