    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ステアリングホイールと、このステアリングボイールに
    一端部が連結され他端部はかじ取り機構に連結されるス
    テアリングシャフトと、このステアリングシャフトを被
    包するコラムシャフトと、このコラムシャフトを車体の
    一部を構成するステアリングコラムステイに取付け支持
    するブラケットとを具備したものにおいて、上記ブラケ
    ットは衝撃エネルギを受けたとき容易に変形する衝撃吸
    収部を有したことを特徴とするステアリング装置。
