空冷式縦軸エンジン３と内部通風式縦形発電機４とを上
下に重ね合せて直結して構成した縦軸形強制空冷式エン
ジン発電機において、エンジン３の上側に発電機４を配
置し、エンジン３の出力軸Ｐをエンジン本体７の上部か
ら冷却ファン１１上に突出させるとともに、この出力軸
Ｐを発電機４の下部に突出する入力軸１２に連結し、発
電機４のケーシング１４の上部に吸風口１７を、下面に
排風口１８を明け、エンジン本体７の上部で冷却ファン
１１上に形成したエンジン冷却風の吸風室９に臨ませて
発電機４のケーシング１４の排風口１８を開口した事を
