動軸をギヤケース内に配置し、駆動軸をギヤケース及び
ギヤケース蓋に軸受部を介して回転自在に支持し、上記
駆動軸に一体的に設けられた駆動ギヤをアイドルギヤ等
を介してクランク軸ギヤに連動連結するエンジンにおい
て、アイドルギヤ支軸の両端部をシリンダブロックの端
面部及びギヤケース蓋に固定し、アイ、ドルギヤ支軸内
に潤滑油路を形成して、該油路の一端部をシリンダブロ
ックの潤滑油通路に連通し、他端部をケース蓋内の潤滑
油路を介して上記駆動軸の軸受部に連通したことを特徴
