For example, in the previous black stripe and phosphor stripe arrangement process, if graphite or phosphor sticks to the panel sealing surface and stains it, it will cause welding failure during the frit sealing process, and the adherents will locally peeling off,
This may enter the fluorescent surface and cause damage to the fluorescent film.
This may indirectly enter the holes of the shadow mask and cause clogging.

Reference numeral 11 denotes a plurality of spongy rows for cleaning, which are arranged side by side with their lower halves immersed in the cleaning liquid in the cleaning liquid tank u. These plurality of cavernous rollers are connected to each other by a drive chain D, and one of them is connected to a drive motor α.
Connect to Oji via chain a3. (IS is a panel, and it is placed so that its sealing surface (1e) is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the spongy roller 11.

Since the lower half of each spongy roller t1η is immersed in the cleaning liquid, it contains a sufficient amount of the cleaning liquid, and as it rotates, it comes into contact with the sealing surface C161 of the panel a9, and while cleaning this together with the cleaning liquid, the Transfer α9 in the direction indicated by the arrow.

If 9 has a large weight, the seal rotation will bite into the spongy roller [11] to some extent, and the outer and inner walls on both sides of the sealing surface will also be washed by this biting, but for small pipes (for example, 10 inches or less) Since there was no biting in the panel, only the sealing surface was washed, and sufficient cleaning was not performed.

In this case, the panel α9 is held by the panel conveyor α11 and is conveyed to the illustrated cleaning position. al is a spongy roller, and a cleaning liquid supply pipe (2) passes through the center of its shaft, and the cleaning liquid is dripped onto the upper end surface of the spongy roller (19) from the cleaning liquid discharge pipe (21) installed at its upper end. However, according to the above cleaning method, since the cleaning liquid is discharged from the cleaning liquid discharge tube near the fluorescent surface, liquid splashes are likely to occur, which is likely to be a drawback of the fluorescent surface. In addition, the load is applied to one side. This causes problems such as local wear of the spongy roller I and reduced cleaning ability.

1, and is fixed to the fil wall by a joint. This cleaning liquid supply pipe Q
As shown in the diagram, Q has a plurality of small holes (281) penetrating inside and outside on the surface located in the tank (C), and the cleaning liquid is discharged from these small holes (2). A cutoff root for cutting off the inside of the pipe is provided at the part corresponding to the center of the tank □□□ of this cleaning liquid supply pipe (c).Therefore, the left and right sides of the cleaning liquid supply pipe 4 are independent from each other, as shown by the arrow (a). As shown in , the cleaning liquid supplied from the outside is uniformly discharged from the small hole (2) without interfering with each other on the left and right sides in the tank.
It is fitted and attached to the outer periphery of the part where the small hole (to) is provided. Therefore, the cleaning liquid discharged from the small holes uniformly permeates into this spongy row 501). The inner diameter of this spongy roller C311 is made slightly larger than the outer diameter of the cleaning liquid supply pipe (E) so that the spongy roller C (1) can freely rotate around the outer circumference of the cleaning liquid supply pipe (4). A washer is attached to the cleaning liquid supply pipe 0, and together with the outer edge of the cutting root, restricts the cleaning in the axial direction of the spongy roller C1l+.

& is held and transported to the cleaning position shown. At this time, the tank (2) is at a lower position than the position shown in Figure 5 due to the cylinder field. When the panel (151) is confirmed to have been transported to the cleaning position using a position detection means, the cylinder 35
operates and raises the entire tank, and the spongy roller C31+
The outer peripheral surface of the panel σ9 is brought into contact with the sealing surface αeK of the panel σ9. In this case, since the upward stroke of the tank (c) differs depending on the size of the panel a51, the upward stroke corresponding to each size is set in advance, and the upward stroke is changed each time the size differs. In this case, regardless of the size, the sealing surface of the panel (151 is set so as to bite into the outer peripheral surface of the sealing surface (161 is the spongy roller C31) to some extent).

。Here, the panel (151) is rotated in the outer circumferential direction indicated by the arrow (') by a panel conveyor (national mechanism), and the sealing surface α0 comes into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the spongy roller [311]. The spongy rollers 311 are indicated by arrows (11
Rotate in the direction shown in (1). At this time, of course, the cleaning liquid is discharged from the small hole (to) of the cleaning liquid supply pipe (c) and uniformly permeates the spongy roller GLI. Therefore, due to the rotation of the panel a9 and the accompanying rotation of the spongy roller c311, the sealing surface ff61 comes into frictional contact with the outer peripheral surface of the spongy roller C (It) impregnated with the cleaning liquid, and is sufficiently cleaned. If the sealing surface (161) digs into the outer peripheral surface of the spongy roller C311 to some extent, the outer and inner walls on both sides of the sealing surface a61 can also be cleaned.

Two or more spongy rows 53D and cleaning liquid supply pipes may be provided. For example, two sets of spongy rollers c111 and cleaning liquid supply g (c) may be arranged in a cross-shape as shown in the figure (two linear sets).

Further, the cleaning liquid to be used is appropriately selected depending on the substance adhering to the sealing surface. Furthermore, the material of the main parts of the device and the axial strain equipment must be appropriately selected depending on the cleaning liquid used. Further, a flow rate control valve may be provided in the middle of the cleaning liquid supply pipe so that the flow rate of the cleaning liquid can be appropriately controlled. In this case, a more appropriate cleaning state can be obtained. Seal surface α of panel book being cleaned

For example, when cleaning If you want to instantly check the degree of cleaning or to clean more of the outer and inner walls, it is better to set the angle with the floor at 70° to 80° so that the cleaning liquid can easily accumulate.
