に収納した小形メタルハライドランプにおいて、前記外
管２は円筒状のガラスバルブ３の両端にそれぞれ円板状
のボタンステム４を溶着して構成したうえ内部を実質的
に真空にしてな゛ リ、前記発光管１はその両端を前記
外管２のボタンステム４を通して気密に導入された複数
の導入導体５ａ・５ｂの先端部に張架された可撓導体６
に接続してあり、さらに前記発光管１の外径に対する外
管２の内径の比を１．４〜２．６の範囲に選定したこと
