After transferring the toner to the surface of the toner, the entire surface is irradiated with infrared rays to fix the toner, and at the same time, the transfer layer on the back side melts and develops color, which is then transferred to the object to be transferred, thereby making it possible to make copies, and the present invention was completed.

にシートAに密着させればよい。First, explanation will be given with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a schematic sectional view conceptually showing the transfer of a toner image 3 from a thermosensitive recording sheet A for copying, for example, an electrophotographic photoreceptor 4 in the present invention. Sheet A has a heat-sensitive coloring layer 2 (with thermal melt transferability) on one side of a support 1 with thermal conductivity (
Hereinafter, it has a structure having a heat-sensitive coloring melt transfer layer). Next, as shown in FIG. 2, the transfer object 5 is placed on the sheet A.
It adheres closely to the surface of the heat-sensitive coloring melt transfer layer 2. Next, as shown in FIG.
By irradiating the entire surface with infrared rays L from the side, the toner image is fixed and at the same time, copying is performed. In this way, the colored portion 2A is obtained in the layer 2 at the same time as the fixed toner image 3A. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4, when the sheet A and the transfer target 4 are peeled off, the fixed toner image 3 is left on the thermosensitive color recording layer 2 of the sheet A.
At the same time, the heat-sensitive color-developing fusion transfer layer 2 develops color on the transfer target 5, and a transferred color-developing copy area 2A is obtained at the same position and in the same pattern as the fixed toner image 3A. In the above description, an example is shown in which the transfer object 5 is brought into close contact with the sheet A after the toner image 3 is formed, but the transfer object 5 may be brought into close contact with the sheet A before the infrared rays L are irradiated.

In the above method, electrophotography or electrostatic printing method is used as a method for forming a toner image.
