[Detailed Description of the Invention] This invention relates to a mold material for shoji doors for buildings, which is designed to reduce the amount of material and weight, as well as to provide versatility to the press mold used in post-processing.

As is well known, there are several types of standards for sash for buildings, and their strength etc. are defined.

However, due to differences in the height of the building and the dimensions of the sash, the strength of the shapes used as shoji frames, that is, even if the external dimensions of the shapes are the same, the wall thickness may not be the same.

For example, if a strong, thick-walled shoji material used for sashes for high-rise buildings is used for shoji shojis for low-rise buildings, which do not require much strength, the material will be too thick and heavy than necessary, so handle it carefully. Not only is it inconvenient in terms of time and opening/closing, but it is also expensive because it does not save on raw materials.

In addition, the above-mentioned shoji is constructed by assembling left and right vertical stiles and upper and lower horizontal stiles, but extruded long shapes are cut into predetermined dimensions to form the vertical stiles and horizontal stiles, and these stiles are then assembled. It must be assembled after being pressed using a mold.

Therefore, since low-strength frames are thinner than high-strength frames, it is necessary to make molds for low-strength frames and high-strength frames due to the difference in wall thickness even if the external shape is the same. , the economic loss is large.

The present invention has been devised in view of the above, and the embodiment shown in the drawings will be described below. The profile 1 according to the present invention has a first plate-like portion 2 and a second plate-like portion 3 facing each other in cross section. It is a long material in which both plate-shaped parts 2 and 3 are connected by an intermediate part 4,
Extruded from aluminum or other light alloy.

On one or both of the opposing inner surfaces of the first plate-like part 2 and the second plate-like part 3 described above, there is a thin protruding line along the length direction of the first plate-like part 2 and the second plate-like part 3. 5 is provided integrally.

Therefore, the first plate-like portion 2 and the second plate-like portion 3 are configured with a thick wall portion 6 with the raised stripes 5 and a thin wall portion 7 without the raised strips 5, and the thickness of the thick wall portion 6 is 1 is thicker than the thickness 1' of the thin wall portion 7 by the thickness of the protruding strip 5.

In addition, in the above embodiment, a case was shown in which both the first plate-like part and the second plate-like part were provided with a thin part and a thick part, but one plate-like part had a thickness of 1 and the other plate-like part had a thickness of 1. The portion may have a thin wall portion and a thick wall portion.

It is preferable that the above-mentioned thick wall portion 6 is formed in two or more places in the first plate-like portion 2 and the second plate-like portion 3, and the thickness 1 of the thick wall portion 6 is equal to the wall thickness of the piece of the high-strength frame. be equal to

Therefore, although the mold material 1 according to the present invention is thin overall and has low strength, it can be sandwiched in a mold for a high strength frame and processed into a desired shape and size.

That is, the thin portion 7 of the profile 1 is thinner than the thickness of the high-strength stile, but the thick portion 6 has the same thickness as the high-strength stile.

Therefore, when a press mold for a high-strength stile is inserted into the facing space between the first plate-like part and the second plate-like part of the mold material 1, the thick part 6 is sandwiched between the molds and is strongly strengthened. Since it is held in place, it does not swing and can be easily and accurately post-processed in the same way as high-strength frames, so there is no need for a press mold for low-strength frames.

As described above, according to the present invention, by providing a thin wall portion and a thick wall portion, and making the thick wall portion equal to the wall thickness of the high strength frame, the mold for press working of the high strength frame can be used as is. Therefore, there is no need to create individual molds for processing due to differences in wall thickness.

The thick portion not only acts as a rib to increase strength, but also saves on raw materials, making it cheaper and lighter.

Therefore, it can be used as a shoji for sashes that do not require much strength, such as sashes for low-rise buildings and sashes of small size, and is easy to handle and open/close.
