A method is known in which the transfer foil is transferred to the molded product when the molded product is obtained. To explain this more specifically, in a conventionally known method, decorative layers 4a, 4b and adhesive layer Mi5 are laminated on a base layer 2 made of polyethylene terephthalate or the like with a release layer 3 interposed therebetween. Using a transfer foil 1 (see Fig. 1), this transfer foil 1 is interposed between the split surfaces of a split mold consisting of a cavity mold 6 and a core mold 8 in which a cavity corresponding to the molded product is formed. The mold is clamped in this state, and the molten thermoplastic resin 9 is injected into the cavity (see Figure 2).As a result, the adhesive layer 5 of the transfer foil 1 is welded to the resin 9, and after the resin 9 is assimilated, the mold is split. When opened, the layer 3 is peeled off from the base layer 2 and the decorative layers 4a and 4b are transferred to the molded product.

At the same time, the molded product is separated from the sheet-like transfer foil 1 at the edge thereof, but in reality, the release layer 3 and the decorative layer 4 are
It has been pointed out that a and 4b are not necessarily separated in a straight line along the end surface of the molded product, resulting in a lot of burr, which deteriorates the finish and makes secondary processing to remove the burr troublesome. was.

とするものである。To achieve this objective, the present invention uses a sheet-like transfer foil in which a decorative layer and an adhesive layer are laminated on one layer via a release layer, and a split mold in which a cavity corresponding to the molded product is formed on one side. In a method in which the decorative layer is transferred to a molded product by injecting molten resin into the caviar eye mold with the transfer foil interposed on the divided surface of the mold, four parts having a slight depth are formed on the other side of the mold. One of the split molds corresponds to 1 Yabity.
When the molten resin is injected, the transfer foil is bent almost along the concave portion by the injection pressure and heat, and the release layer of the transfer foil is formed near the edge of the concave portion. The molded article according to the present invention is characterized in that the decorative layer and the adhesive layer are cracked, and the molded product according to the present invention is characterized in that the decorative layer and the adhesive layer are bonded to the base layer through a peeling layer. The laminated transfer foil is interposed between the split surfaces of a two-part mold, in which a cavity is formed on one side to cover the molded product, and a recess with a slight depth corresponding to the cavity is formed on the other side. During injection molding of the molded product, the transfer foil is bent almost along the recess, and the release layer, the decorative layer, and the adhesive layer are cut near the edge of the recess to form the molded product. It is characterized by being transcribed.

。The transfer foil used to decorate the molded product in the present invention is applied to a base layer 2 made of polyethylene terephthalate or the like via a peeled layer 3 to form decorative layers 4a, 4b and the like, similar to that used in the conventional method described above. It has a sheet-like structure in which adhesive layers 5 are laminated, and the decorative layers 4a and 4b are printed on peelable KE3-L with ink in six different colors, and the adhesive layer 5 is made of thermoplastic resin, which will be described later. It is made of a resin that is weldable to resin. As shown in FIG. 3, the split mold 10 consists of a cavity mold 11 and a core mold 12. The cavity mold 11 has a key A corresponding to the shape of the desired molded product.
! A mold 13 is provided with a runner 14 which is open in the cavity at one end and connected to an index molding machine (not shown) at the other end. A recess 15 having a shape that matches the cavity 13 is formed on the upper surface, and this recess 15 has a certain depth, preferably about 200 to 300 mm.
It is formed to have a depth of μ. And two configured like this? The υ1 mold 10 is clamped with the transfer foil 1 interposed on the dividing surface of the split mold 10 of No. 21, that is, the joint surface with the capitei mold 11 and the A mold 12, and the molten thermoplastic resin is poured from the runner 14. 16 is injected into the caviar eye 13, the resin 16 fills the interior of the caviar eye 13, and at the same time, the transfer foil 1, which is loosely stretched, is injected into the recess 1 of the core mold 12 by the heat and injection pressure. This state is shown in FIG. 4, and due to its own rigidity, the transfer foil 1 is gradually pushed toward the surface of the concave portion 1 from approximately the center of the four portions 15. The resin 16 is finally removed.
When the filling is completed, the transfer foil 1 is bent along the surface of the recess 15 except for the lower end corner (see FIG. 5). Here, the reason why the transfer foil 1 is bent into a curved shape without contacting the lower end corner of the four parts 15 is due to the rigidity of the transfer foil 1 itself and the fact that the air that was present in the four parts 15 is
This is due to the pressure generated by condensing and concentrating around the lower corner of the concave part 1F). At the edge, the above-mentioned air pressure is generated (X, transfer γ), and the stiffness f (1) of 1 acts in the opposite direction, so that the transfer foil 1 bends IHi at right angles along this edge. For this reason, the transfer foil 1 has a right-angled bent portion η, except for the base layer 2, which has a relatively high bending strength Iy.
It was decided to remove the crack 17, so after cooling and assimilating the resin 16, the split mold 10 was opened and the -C molded product 11111 was formed.
When rolling out, remove the transfer foil 1 111 layer 3 and decorative layer /Ia

6, it is cut at the end face of the molded product. After the molding of the molded product and the decoration with the transfer foil 1 are completed in this way, the sheet 1 of the transfer foil 1 is pulled out by a certain distance, for example, to the right in the figure, and the split mold 10 is clamped again. By going through the same steps as above, the desired molded products are sequentially molded (A).

It is cut along the transcription tongue! The molded product 20 is cured and installed on the end surface of the molded product 20, and there is almost no occurrence of cracks. Knee processing for deburring, which has traditionally been done, is no longer necessary or can be done with only one operation, greatly improving efficiency. In addition, this molded product 20 has the following advantages: The curved shape is created by the extrusion, which gives a smooth feel.Furthermore, in the present invention, a transfer foil 1 similar to that used conventionally is used, and a cavity type of the split mold is used. Since it requires 4-r changes, the molding cost does not increase, but rather the cost can be reduced by simplifying the work.

The decorative layer is transferred to the molded product by injecting molten resin into the cavity, avoiding the interposition of the inkling ``Ij'RI'+, on the split surface of the split mold in which a cavity corresponding to the product is formed. In this method, a concave portion having a certain depth is formed in the other half of the split mold corresponding to the 2L depth of the one half of the split mold, and when the molten resin is injected, the injection pressure is increased. and heat to bend the transfer foil (approximately along the concave portion,
It was decided that the peeling of the transfer foil would cause cracks in the layer, the decorative layer and the adhesive layer near the edge of the recess, resulting in rust-C. Since the release layer and the decorative layer are cut from the sheet-like transfer foil and transferred to the molded product, they are transferred with almost no flakes, which greatly simplifies the finishing work and enables efficient molding. be able to.

A method for decorating an injection molded product using a transfer foil, characterized in that cracks are generated in the peeling layer, the decoration layer, and the adhesive layer of the transfer foil near the edge. (2) A transfer foil formed by laminating a decorative layer and an adhesive layer on a base layer with a release layer interposed therebetween, a cavity eye corresponding to the molded product is formed on one side, and a 7'''i corresponding to the sho cavity is formed on the other side.
The transfer foil is inserted into the dividing surface of a two-split mold in which a recess with a depth of T of 1 to the right is formed, and during injection molding of the molded product, the transfer foil is bent almost along the recess, and the transfer foil is bent along the recess. An injection molded article covering the molded article, wherein the peeling layer, the decorative layer, and the adhesive layer are cut near the edge of the recess and transferred to the molded article.
