The types of accidents include accidents such as a worker falling onto a support beam and becoming slumped, as well as accidents that can be handled on-site and do not appear in industrial accident statistics, such as accidents where a worker lowers his or her back at the site. There are countless small accidents that occur frequently, such as people hitting their butts while trying to lower a bicycle without noticing the crossbar, or scratching their face etc. when they are stuck against a wall with a crossbar such as a block. The current situation is that

Conventionally, the main safety measures against this problem have been so-called box curing, which involves bending the protruding ends of the reinforcing bars into hook shapes or laying scaffolding boards, etc.; The bending process is difficult, and can lead to accidents such as people getting their feet caught on the hook-shaped part and falling.

Furthermore, in the case of box curing, there are disadvantages such as the cost of materials, excessive labor for laying and removing, and furthermore, poor safety.

In order to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks, the Utility Model Kaikai 49-2
As shown in Japanese Utility Model Application No. 1726 or Japanese Utility Model Application No. 54-53823, a reinforcing bar protection cap is provided which is attached to a protruding end of a reinforcing bar such as a dip bar.

This known reinforcing bar protection cap is made of an elastic material such as rubber and has an outer shape in the shape of an enlarged head of a light bulb, and has a reinforcing bar insertion opening extending upwardly from its lower end.

However, in this known reinforcing bar protection cap, the reinforcing bar insertion hole is formed for one reinforcing bar, and the insertion diameter is fixed. It is necessary to prepare protective caps with different diameters, which is cumbersome in terms of inventory management, and even when two types of reinforcing bars with different diameters are arranged next to each other, it is necessary to select two types of protective caps and cap them on the reinforcing bars. There was a problem in that the work of putting on the crown was relatively troublesome because the person had to put it on.

This idea was created in view of the problems mentioned above.
The purpose is to make it possible to selectively attach two types of reinforcing bars with different diameters with one reinforcing bar protection cap.
The purpose is to simplify inventory management and crowning work.

以下にこの考案の実施例を図面を用いて詳細に説明する
Embodiments of this invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings.

The figure shows a reinforcing bar protection cap 1 according to this invention, and this protection cap 1 is a hollow body made of a rubber-like elastic material such as rubber or vinyl chloride and having self-shape retention properties.

This protective cap 1 has insertion ports 2 and 3 having different insertion diameters 11 and 12 formed in its upper and lower parts, respectively, and an intermediate partition wall 4 is integrally formed in the middle part of these insertion ports 2 and 3. It is formed as follows.

The locking pieces 5 and 6 defining the upper and lower insertion ports 2 and 3, respectively, are preferably elongated in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the paper, and the middle partition wall 4 is It extends laterally beyond.

A plurality of rib plates 7 having a substantially elliptical cross section are provided at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of the locking pieces 5 and 6 to connect the upper and lower locking pieces 5 and 6 and the outer end of the middle partition wall 4. It is to be provided integrally.

In this case, if the diameter of the insertion port is slightly smaller than the diameter of the reinforcing bar 8, the locking piece 5 or 6 forming the peripheral wall of the insertion port will be inserted into the tip of the reinforcing bar while expanding elastically. It is preferable that it becomes strong.

By attaching the protective cap 1 to the tip of the reinforcing bar 8 in this way, if a worker or the like collides with the upper part of the reinforcing bar 8, the upper insertion hole and the oval rib plate 7 where the reinforcing bar is not inserted will be damaged. The reinforcing bars are elastically deformed to disperse and absorb the impact, and the tips of the reinforcing bars hit the intermediate wall 4 to prevent further protrusion, and these actions ensure the safety of the workers.

As described above, the reinforcing bar protection cap according to the present invention has insertion ports with different insertion diameters on the upper and lower sides thereof, and also forms an intermediate wall between the upper and lower insertion ports to restrict the protrusion of the reinforcing bars. Therefore, one reinforcing bar protection cap can be adapted to two types of reinforcing bars of different diameters, making inventory management easier compared to conventionally known reinforcing bar protection caps, and also making it possible to adapt two types of reinforcing bars of different diameters at construction sites. When different reinforcing bars are used, the work of attaching the reinforcing bar protection cap becomes extremely simple.
