Abstract

PURPOSE:The titled composition, obtained by incorporating paraffin particles with a specific amount of inorganic powder, having improved workability, e.g. dispensing or weighing, etc., without causing a blocking phenomenon even in a high-humidity atmosphere, and having improved dispersibility in compounded rubber. CONSTITUTION:A paraffin composition obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. paraffin particles, prepared by pulverizing paraffin particles having 0.8-0.9 specific gravity and 45-65 deg.C melting point by the mechanical pulverization, etc., and having about <=1.5mm. particle diameter uniformly with (B) 10-50pts.wt. inorganic powder having about <=2.7 specific gravity and about <=5mu particle diameter, e.g. soft or heavy calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, silica or clay, in a supermixer, etc. The above-mentioned composition containing the component (B) easily existing between particles of the component (A) prevents the contact of mutual particles of the component (A), and the blocking phenomenon will not occur. The dispersibility in compounded rubber is good.

Detailed Description of the Invention The present invention provides a rubber that does not cause blocking even in high-temperature atmospheres such as in the summer, has excellent workability in dividing and measuring, and has excellent dispersibility in rubber compounds. The present invention relates to a paraffin composition for compounding.

PRIOR ART Conventionally, paraffin has been widely used in rubber compounds for the purpose of ensuring the ozone resistance of vulcanized rubber, but paraffin for such rubber compounding generally has a specific gravity of 0.80 to 0.80.
0.90. One with a melting point of about 45 to 65°C is used alone. These puff fins are usually formed in the form of particles, and maintain their properties at room temperature, but in a high-temperature atmosphere such as in the summer (for example, around 40'C), a melting phenomenon occurs from the surface of the puff fin, and nine paraffin particles form together. There is a phenomenon in which the particles weld together to form a large lump (this phenomenon is called the blocking phenomenon).

Therefore, when paraffin that has become agglomerated is used for rubber compounding, methods such as cutting it with a knife, etc., or grinding it with a shaft with a hammer, etc. are used to measure it into a predetermined amount, but the workability is poor. Problems with the Invention The present invention was invented in view of the above-mentioned circumstances. , has excellent workability such as weighing, and
It is an object of the present invention to provide a paraffin composition for use in rubber coatings (hereinafter referred to as "puffin composition") that has excellent dispersibility in rubber compounds.

These inorganic powders must not have a significant effect on the vulcanization molding or vulcanized physical properties of the rubber, and if the mixing amount is outside the above range at the lower limit, contact between paraffin particles cannot be sufficiently prevented. However, it is not effective in preventing the bronching phenomenon.

On the other hand, if the upper limit of the above range is exceeded, the amount of inorganic powder mixed will be too large, which will scatter during use, which is not environmentally friendly, and will also have a negative impact on the physical properties of the rubber. The reason why the specific gravity of the inorganic powder was set to be less than 8 F is that the difference in specific gravity from paraffin is r (therefore, the phase fraction # is not caused (2 particles are smaller in diameter)). This is because it is easily interposed between paraffin particles and has an excellent effect of preventing W Mti+ between paraffin particles.

By mixing a predetermined amount of inorganic powder with puffin particles, the pheasant powder can be easily interposed between the paraffin particles, effectively preventing paraffin particles from coming into contact with each other. There is no bronching phenomenon in which the surface of paraffin particles melts and the paraffin particles adhere to each other and form agglomerates in high-temperature atmospheres such as without causing
It has excellent dispersibility in rubber compounds, does not significantly affect the physical properties of vulcanized rubber, and functions effectively to ensure ozone resistance.
