【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は、空冷内燃機関において、導風カバーの冷却吸
気口からその内部に塵埃が侵入するのを防止し、かつ冷
却吸気口に塵埃が付着滞積して吸気を妨げるのを防止す
るための防塵装置に係るものである。

本考案は上記の如き実情に鑑み、従来の不都合を一掃す
べく創案されたものであって、導風カバーの冷却吸気口
内側に設けたエンジンのフライホイールに、上記冷却吸
気口に臨ませて該冷却吸気口より径が大で、且つ側面視
で中心部より外側に向うにつれて上記吸気口側に傾斜し
た円板状の防塵板を一体的に取付け、この防塵板には複
数の吸気窓を放射状に形成すると共に、前記防塵板の周
縁近接位置には上記吸気窓に順次重合するスクレーパー
カッタを、防塵板の前面に配設したスタータ取付部材に
設けたことにより、導風カバーの冷却吸気口に吸入空気
流にのって吸込まれようとする塵埃を、回転する防塵板
で遮断して完全な防塵を図り、かつ上記防塵板の吸気窓
仕切部に巻付き付着した粗大塵埃をスクレーパーカッタ
によって切断排除することができ、もって、粗大塵埃が
多発する環境にあっても、その塵埃で冷却吸気口が塵が
るのを防止し、常に所期の冷却吸気量を確保して、エン
ジンの過熱事故を未然に防止することができる空冷内燃
機関における防塵装置を提供しようとするものである。

塵埃で冷却吸気口が塵がるのを防止し、常に所期の冷却
吸気量を確保して、エンジンの過熱事故を未然に防止す
