Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of flaw by realizing an excellent cooling capability, by cooling the upper surface part of a rolling material traveling on table rolls arranged adjacently to a rolling mill at a fixed position and reducing the contact between the rolls and the material part locating at a cooling zone. CONSTITUTION:A hot rolled material 4 of aluminum is traveled on table rolls 1 arranged adjacently to a rolling mill 5 to cool the upper surface part of material 4 at a fixed position by colling devices 2. At that time, a pair of the cooling devices 2 are oppositely arranged to cool the material 4, and the rolls 1 in a cooling zone are formed into small diameters to reduce the contact between the materials 4 and the rolls 1. In this way, an aluminum rolling material free from flaws is obtained in excellent cooling conditions.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a cooling method and a cooling device for hot-rolled materials, and is particularly applicable to rolled aluminum materials (including aluminum alloys; hereinafter the same) that require a good surface finish. It is suitable for this purpose. In order to improve the quality of aluminum sheet materials - It is well known that forced cooling of rolled materials during the hot rolling process is carried out, and a method is generally adopted in which the aluminum rolled materials running on table rolls are cooled with water on the exit side of the rolling mill. The rolled materials are arranged in rows at intervals on a table extended to the rolling mill.

During the process of running on the drum-shaped table roll l shown in Figure 1, cooling water is sprayed onto the upper and lower surfaces of the rolled material from a number of headers installed at the upper and lower parts of the rolled material. By the way, since aluminum requires a good surface, the table roll is also shaped like a drum as mentioned above, so that the side edges of the rolled material are supported by the rolls, but the top and bottom surfaces of the rolled material are When cooling a relatively thin rolled material, the thermal stress and body weight during cooling may cause the rolled material to be in a flat state, and the contact position of the cheese roll and the rolled material may gradually shift from the edge of the rolled material. It moves inward in the width direction of the rolled material.1.The speed difference between the table roll and the rolled material causes scratches on the product part of the rolled material. This problem becomes more noticeable as the number of people increases, so it becomes a problem that hinders productivity improvement.

The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate such inconveniences, and its gist is to cool the upper surface of the rolled material and to reduce contact between the table roll and the rolled material in the cooling zone. . The present invention will be explained below with reference to the drawings. Although the cooling device used in the present invention is not particularly limited, it is preferable to use a cooling device with good cooling ability. It is preferable that a slit 3 is provided at the corner of the header so that pressurized water is injected from the slit. Note that 1 is a table roll.

However, according to this deformation process, after cooling, the table roll and the rolled material can come into contact only at the edges of the plate, and contact on the inside in the width direction of the plate, that is, at the center of the plate, can be avoided. By avoiding contact between the rolling material and the table roll during the period when the medium-rolled material temporarily becomes rough, scratches on the rolling material can be prevented. In order to avoid contact between the rolled material and the table roll, it is conceivable to make the table roll in the water-cooled part movable up and down, but as confirmed by the example below, the table roll in the water-cooled part should be made with a small diameter. Good results can therefore be obtained by reducing contact with the rolled material.

Note that even if the table roll is made smaller in diameter, the roll shape is drum-shaped, and the table roll that is normally used has a diameter of 4s (1) approximately 29011 mm. The diameter of the central part is about 2300 mm, while the smaller diameter ones have a diameter of about 260 m at the ends and a diameter of about 200 g at the center.

FIG. 4 shows a preferred embodiment of the present invention, in which reference numeral 5 denotes a rolling mill, and a rolled material 4 is conveyed on a table roll 1 and cooled by water in a cooling device 2. The table roll 1 in this water-cooled cooling section is made small in diameter as described above. Further, if the cooling device 2fi is in the forward direction of the conveyance direction of the rolled material 4, there is a problem that the cooling water stays on the surface of the rolled material, so a pair of water cooling devices it2 are provided facing each other.

The material of the rolled material is AA5050, and the dimensions are plate thickness 13 to 15.
The width of the rolled material is 1,300 to 1,800,111 mm, and the conveying speed of the rolled material is 60 to 100 m/min. In addition, the table roll has the dimensions described above and the pitch is the same as before.
50 am, and two small-diameter rolls were placed only in the water-cooled part. However, according to the table above, it is understood that by water-cooling the upper surface of the rolled material and reducing the contact between the rolled material and the table roll that fall into the water-cooled area, good cooling performance can be exhibited and the occurrence of scratches can be prevented. I think so.

As explained above, according to the present invention, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of scratches while exhibiting a good cooling ability, and as a result, it is possible to manufacture wide materials with 6 pieces, which is extremely effective in terms of productivity IL.
