Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a liquid-crystal display element from shifting in position owing to a shock by inserting the liquid-crystal display element fixedly into a groove formed in conductive rubber which is arranged between a printed board and a panel and compressed. CONSTITUTION:An end part of the liquid-crystal display element 11 is inserted into a groove 13a formed in conductive rubber 13. The conductive rubber 13 is compressed and clamped between the printed board 12 and panel 14, and a projection part 14a of the panel 14 is inserted through the printed board 12 and bent. Thus, the liquid-crystal display element 11 is prevented from shifting in position owing to a shock and a defective connection between the liquid-crystal display element 11 and printed board 12, a defect in lighting, and inclination of a displayed character and prevented.

Insert the protrusion 4a provided on the end face of the printed circuit board 2,
The panel 4 is pressed against the printed circuit board 2 side and a certain degree of compressive force is applied to the conductive rubber 3 to bend the protrusion 4a of the panel 4, and the liquid crystal display element 1 and the conductive rubber 3 are clamped and fixed between the panel 4 and the printed circuit board 2. It will be done.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 3, 4, and 5. A groove 13a is provided on the inner surface of the conductive rubber 13, and the terminal portion of the liquid crystal display element 11 is fitted into the groove 13a. Then, the conductive rubber 13 to which the liquid crystal display element 11 is attached is placed on the printed circuit board 12, and the conductive rubber 13 is placed on the printed circuit board 12.
The upper surface of the panel 14 is pressed and the protrusion 14 of the panel 14 is pressed.
a is inserted into the printed circuit board 12, the protrusion 14a of the panel 14 is bent, and the conductive rubber 13 is clamped and fixed between the panel 14 and the printed circuit board 12.
