The dummy cell 10 is housed in recess portions 4a and 4b of a cell case 4 and when inserted into a radio receiver, the wiring cord 12 is outwardly introduced from a notch 13 provided in the cell case 4. The wiring cord 12 is connected to a cell case 14 which is capable of positioning cells with AAA size in series at the other end of the cord as an external cell.
