That is, the method involves forming an image of printing ink on a concave plate with predetermined marks engraved thereon, transferring it to a kumbo, etc., and then transferring it to the outer surface of the golf ball.
The ink used for this purpose is generally a two-component curing type ink based on urethane resin, as it needs to be sufficiently resistant to club hits and the like.

There were drawbacks such as the need to leave it on a shelf or the like without touching it for half a day to a day. In addition, since it takes time to dry and harden, the balls may collide with each other or come into contact with equipment, resulting in parts of the marks being chipped and defective products being produced.

The purpose is to make it possible to touch it with inspection equipment, to be able to move on to the next manufacturing or inspection process, to eliminate storage space, and to prevent the occurrence of defective products where part of the mark or part of the wire winding is missing. Therefore, a feature of the present invention is that a mark or wire winding is formed on the outer surface of a golf ball using ultraviolet curable ink, and the ink is cured by irradiating ultraviolet rays.
以下、図示の実施例に基き本発明を詳説する。Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail based on illustrated embodiments.

The test results showed that Mark 2 did not fall off at all, and it was confirmed that the durability (in practical terms - F/11) was 4. This is to prevent the ball from falling off due to impact, and it is desirable to coat the printed mark 2, but in some cases, as shown in FIG. It may also be preferable to print mark 2 in the manner described above.

The durability of the roll is improved.

Unlike mold ink, there is no need to mix the ink (and there is no need for a storage area with drying shelves), and the factory space can be used effectively, allowing the golf ball painting job to be completed in a short time. In addition, it is possible to significantly reduce the occurrence of defective products in which part of the mark is chipped in the uncured state or part of the wire winding is chipped due to collisions between balls or contact with equipment. After printing the roll, it becomes possible to touch the balls immediately with hands or with manufacturing equipment/inspection equipment, which has the great advantage of allowing the ball to be moved to the next manufacturing process or inspection process.
