Claims

(1) A latch operation mechanism that drives the latch in and out by rotating the handle, a locking member that engages with the latch and restricts the latch to the locked position, and an electric unlocking mechanism that uses electric drive to restrict the locking member to the unlocked state. A bistable electric lock is equipped with an electric lock mechanism and a manual unlocking mechanism that regulates the locking member to the unlocked state by rotation of a cylinder or thumb turn, and the plunger is switched between a stable advancing position and a stable retreating position by instantaneous energization.
