Claims (7)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] (1)接着材が塗布してあシかつ所望の配向膜パターン
を有するガラス板を“固定位置決めする工程と、前記ガ
ラス板の上面に定量した液晶を大気中で滴下する工程と
、その上から所望の配向膜パターンを有する他方のガラ
ス板をパターンを合せて重ねる工程と、前記両ガラヌ板
が接着するように前記両ガラス板の一辺を除く周縁に荷
重を印加してガラス基板を得る工程と、前記ガラス基板
の一辺を除く周縁に荷重を印加しながら、該ガラス基板
の空隙内のエアを真空を用いて集合させる工程と゛、−
辺を除く周縁に荷重が印加された前記ガラス基板を中央
部分をしごくように加圧することにより前記空隙内のエ
アを抜く工程とを行なうことを特徴とする液晶充填方法

空にする真空ポンプに接続され、かつ前記ガラス基板の
中央をしごくように加圧するエア抜き手段、及び前記真
空チャンバを大気に開放する開放手段を備えるステージ
lンとを具備することを特徴とする液晶充填装置。
