本以上の電極で規則的に接続された形状の第一の電極を
有する第一の基板と、誘電体層で被覆されたスリット状
の第二の遷移電極が一本以上の電極で規則的に接続され
た形状の第二の電極を有する第二の基板とを絶縁体を介
して、前記第一の遷移電極と前記第二の遷移電極とが互
いの遷移電極間に位置する様に対向させることに依り放
電空間を形成し、かつ前記放電空間内の両端の一方に抵
抗体層で被覆された電荷注入電極と、もう一方の端に抵
抗体層で被覆された電荷消去電極とを有することを特徴
とする放電表示板において、前記第一の電極及び第二の
電極のうち少くとも一方を透明電極で形成し、かつ前記
第−及び第二の遷移電極のうち少くとも一方の遷移電極
