発明の関連する技術
本発明は耐光性・耐候性の優れた外装部材、特に塗装後
も非塗装部が長期間劣化しない車両等に用いられる外装

の際使用するポリプロピレン系樹脂素材には外装部材に
耐光性・耐候性を付与するため株式会社大成社から出版
された酸化防止剤ノ・ンドプツクに記載されているよう
に通常次式で表わされるビス(2,’J6+6−チトラ
メチルー4−ピペリジン)セパセードが0.1〜1重i
%添加されるかまたはこのビス(2,2I6,6−テト
ラメチル−4−ピペリジン)セパセード0.1〜1重量
%に加えて、次式
・で表わされる2(2/−ヒドロキシ−87−t−ブチ
ル−5′−メチルフェニル)−5−クロHベンゾトリア
ゾールが0.05〜1重量%添加される。一方、外装部
拐、例えばバンパーに塗装する場合には、前記工程(B
)に示すように部材を脱脂する必要があり、脱脂には通
常トリクロルエタン蒸気洗浄が用いられる。ところがこ
のトリクロルエタン蒸気洗浄が行なわれるとポリプロピ
レン組成物中に均一に拡散されている射光(候)剤が沸
騰1,1.1−トリクロルエタン蒸気により活発になる
ポリプロピレンの分子運動のため主にバンパーの肉厚外
層部に存在するものが抽出される。このような条件下で
作製されたバンパーは第1図に示すように塗装部のA面
および0面と、非塗装部のB面を備えており、非塗装部
B面では少なくとも外層部の射光・耐候剤が溶出してt
/−)るため火曜により短期間に白化し劣化するという

本発明は、このような従来の問題点に着目して・なされ
たもので、塗装前処理の脱脂工程においてトリクロルエ
タン蒸気により溶出しにくい射光(@)剤をポリプロピ
レン系樹脂に配合することにより、非塗装部が天眼条件
下で長期間劣化しない耐光性・耐候性の優れた外装部材

)剤が溶出されることがなく、耐光性および耐候性が優
れているため、非塗装部の短期間の火曜による外層白化
および材料劣化が防止され、長期間使用に耐えるという
