各現像装置は潜像形成媒体に対して固定されて、常に現
像可能な状態になっている0っiシ単色記録等圧おいて
当該記録に用いない現像共fi1.1も機械的には現像
状態となる。このため複数の現像装置の内二番目以降に
不要な色の現像装置がある場合でも既に現像されたトナ
ー像を不要な現像装置の磁気プ2シでこすることになり
トナー像の破壊、尚該現像装置への異色トナーの混入と
いった問題が起こり易く良好な記録が得られない原因と
なっていた。また異色トナーが混入すると現像剤の交換
