Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the electromagnetic attractive force to be increased with the same capacity of a machine, by guiding exhaust from a drill main unit to a silencer chamber provided in an electromagnet bed board so as to both silence a noise of the exhaust and cool the electromagnet bed board by the exhaust. CONSTITUTION:A socket 15 used for mounting a drill main unit 1 to a slide rod 12 is formed in a hollow shape, and exhaust is guided into the socket 15. While the inside of the slide rod 12 is formed in a cylindrical shape toward the bottom, allowing the exhaust guided into said socket 15 to flow down in the slide rod 12. Then the exhaust, flowing down in the slide rod 12 is discharged from a delivery port 17 provided in a front position of the bed board 7 after being guided into a silencer chamber 16 provided in the upper part of an electromagnet bed board 7. In this way a noise of the exhaust from the drill main unit 1 can be silenced and also electromagnetically attractive force can be increased with the same capacity of the drill by cooling said bed board 7 by the same exhaust.
