Abstract

PURPOSE:To transfer an ink image with high quality irrespectively of the surface condition of a transfer paper, a wax layer having a melting point of lower than that of an ink layer is provided on the surface of the ink layer of an ink doner sheet for heat-sensitive recording. CONSTITUTION:A heat-fusible ink obtained by adding an oil and a pigment to carnauba wax or an ester wax and having a melting point of about 70-90 deg.C is applied onto a base layer 5 consisting of a condenser paper, a polyester film or the like which has a thickness of about 5-15mum to provide the ink layer 6. Then, a heat-fusible wax 7 obtained by excluding the pigment from the ink layer composition is applied onto the ink layer 6. The layer of the wax 7 has a melting point of about 50-70 deg.C. The ink is applied in a quantity of 3-5g/m<2>, while the wax is applied in a quantity of 5-8g/m<2>.

に塗布した熱溶融性インク層6と、このインク層6の構
成の中から顔料を除去し溶点を約50〜70℃にし前記
熱浴融性インク層6の表面に5〜8g/m2を塗布した
熱溶融性ワックス層7とよ多構成される。
