Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device that can display any color by mixing of three primary colors and gives good color tone by arranging minute lenticular lenses for groups consisting of picture elements of three primary colors provided on transparent electrodes. CONSTITUTION:A twist nematic liquid crystal 6 is sealed between an upper glass substrate 1 provided with a group 2 of transparent electrodes and a group of color filters (5a denotes a red filter, 5b denotes a green filter and 5c denotes a blue filter) and a lower glass base plate 3 provided with a group 4 of transparent electrodes. Polarizing plates 7, 7 are placed on the two glass substrates 1, 3, and a lenticular lens plate 9 is provided on the upper polarizing plate 7. Each lenticular lens 8 is made to correspond to each element consisting of three primary colors of color filters. Accordingly, by applying voltage selectively between upper and lower electrodes of the device, a desired color display of good color tone can be obtained.

した色の画素を作り出すものではなかった。

ビ、フルカラーレベルメーター、フルカラー液晶プリン
ターを実現できるものである。
