Description

[Detailed Description of the Invention] This invention relates to a container, and more particularly to a container which can be disassembled or broken down as required to minimize its external dimensions for the convenience of transporting or selling the container itself, and which can be quickly and easily reassembled when used as a container for putting things inside.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment in which the container according to the present invention is applied to a single cubic container.

The state shown in FIG. 1 is the fully assembled state of the container, which is to be assembled or disassembled via intermediate states as shown in FIG.

FIG. 3 shows the cubic container shown in FIG. 1 or 2 completely collapsed into band-shaped components.

The periphery of such a band-shaped component member is provided with a well-known selectively detachable engaging device (which may be one known by a trade name such as a fastener), and when such a band-shaped member is assembled into a container in the manner shown in Figure 1 or Figure 2, the engaging devices provided on adjacent edges of the band-shaped member are fastened to each other.

FIG. 4 shows an embodiment in which the present invention is applied to a rectangular parallelepiped container, and FIG. 5 shows the belt-shaped members constituting the container in an expanded form.

As can be easily understood from a comparison of Figures 1 and 4 and Figures 3 and 5, a rectangular container of any length can be obtained by appropriately selecting the length of the straight portion present in the middle of the strip-shaped member.

FIG. 6 shows one embodiment in which the present invention is applied to a cylindrical container, and FIG. 7 shows an expanded view of the band-shaped member that constitutes such a cylindrical container.

It will be apparent that the present invention is equally applicable to containers of any three-dimensional shape other than the cube, rectangular parallelepiped, cylinder, and sphere shown in the figures.
