。Conventionally, for conveying thin steel plates, etc., there is an indirect conveyance method that uses slot conveyors, belt conveyors, etc., and an I1 method that uses linear motors.
M contact conveyance, method 69, the former has low RI equipment cost, but lacks high-speed conveyance and rapid acceleration/deceleration, and the latter has many linear motors placed on the conveyor fs, so it is high speed. In view of this, the present invention utilizes the advantages of the conveying method using a linear motor tf, and is suitable for rapid acceleration/deceleration and high speed. This system is intended to reduce equipment costs and provide stable inertial sliding throughout the entire process, and will be described below based on the illustrated embodiment.

The object to be transported, such as a thin steel plate, etc., is a linear motor 1J that has excellent rapid acceleration/deceleration and high-speed transport. When placed in the G, the size, weight, speed, etc. of the object to be transported is determined in advance, and the necessary transport is performed. A desired conveying force is applied by the linear motor 1 which is capable of applying force.

速度で安定して搬送するものである。As a result, the thin steel plate or the like is energized by the linear motor and conveyed while being supported on the guide row 22 attached to the G1ft linear motor. Since an air table 3 is provided adjacent to and on the same line as this linear motor 1, the thin steel plate or the like conveyed by the linear motor reaches this air table 7. However, although this air table 5ri cannot be given a conveying force, a large number of small holes or slits are bored on the entire top surface of the air table 5ri, and air is supplied through the blower and duct from these small holes and slit-shaped air jet holes 3a. Since the air is being blown out, thin steel plates and the like can be floated by this blown air! At this time, the thin steel plate or the like has the inertia given by the near motor 1, so it slides on the air table (air table) with low friction and stable inertia, and is conveyed to the next place. A beam near motor 1t is further provided on the other end side of the air table, which applies further conveying force to the thin steel plate conveyed from the air table hill, thereby stably conveying it at a desired speed.

The amount of air blown out from the pod, the pressure, etc., should be made to meet the conditions mentioned above.

By effectively utilizing the rapid acceleration/deceleration ability and reducing energy loss due to the low friction of the air table, the desired conveyance can be achieved. In addition, fewer linear motors are used compared to the conventional linear motor system, resulting in lower equipment costs. Moreover, since the linear motor and air table are made into a unit and can be combined arbitrarily according to the conveyance line, there is an advantage that a free conveyance line can be obtained.
