DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to wax mold taking during the production of dental cast crowns. Currently, dental cast crowns are manufactured by forming the original shape of a tooth at a prosthetic site using dental wax, attaching a sprue wire to this, and then investing, casting, and polishing. This dental wax is thermoplastic, being solid at room temperature and becoming soft and liquid when heated, and has adhesive and sticky properties, which are convenient properties for forming wax molds.

Conventionally, wax impressions were taken during the production of dental cast crowns using dental wax based on the abutment tooth (c) of the working model (FIG. 3). However, this wax mold must be carefully and minutely formed using anatomical knowledge of teeth and other knowledge, and even dentists and dental technicians with such knowledge cannot easily form it. Ta. In particular, the occlusal surface of a tooth (FIG. 1 (2)) is difficult to process with wax because of its complex shape, and conventionally it has taken a lot of time and effort to take a wax impression. Moreover, the quality of this wax mold shape was left to the hands of the artist, and the wax mold shape was formed uniquely to each artist. However, the shape of natural teeth differs slightly due to individual differences, state of occlusion, etc., and a wax mold is formed to approximately match the shape of the natural tooth in most cases. Even if the spell was applied, the shape would still be unique to that caster. This is because it is not easy to take a wax mold, so even if some of the cast crowns were slightly out of the anatomical form, they had no choice but to be used with emphasis on restoring function. There was a problem with that point. Therefore, in the present invention, the part corresponding to the occlusal surface (A) of the tooth is made as a ready-made body with an anatomical shape, and the material of the ready-made body is a wax mold that will be buried in the future and will be heat-extinguished and become a mold. Disposal property is required. In addition, cases have abutment teeth (c) of various shapes, and the implantation positions of the adjacent teeth (e) also vary, so it is necessary to match them with the wax-shaped shape in a well-balanced manner, so flexibility and closeness must be maintained. Teeth occlusal surfaces with various sizes of distal diameter (E), buccolingual diameter (F), and thickness (K) are required.

As described above, by using the tooth occlusal surface of the present invention made of a material that satisfies the anatomical form, heat dissipation properties, and flexibility, wax impressions can be taken quickly and easily, and the conventional problems can be solved. It is. To explain this with a drawing using a completely cast crown of a mandibular molar as an example, the conventional method is to apply a wax separating agent to the abutment tooth (c), use a former to soften the wax with a flame from a burner, etc. Then, the abutment tooth (c) is coated with a layer of wax (Fig. 5 (1)), and the occlusal surface (a), buccal surface (b), lingual surface (c), and adjacent Build up the wax on the surface (D) (Fig. 5 (2)), and use a forming tool to form the entire wax mold (Fig. 5 (3)). As mentioned above, this required a lot of time and effort. After attaching the sprue wire (■) to the wax mold, the wax mold is removed from the abutment tooth (c) and buried (Fig. 7 (1)
) - Casting - Polishing to produce a cast crown (Fig. 2 (1)). (Note that when taking a wax impression, the occlusal relationship with the opposing teeth must be taken into consideration, but this invention relates to a method for taking a wax impression, and consideration of the occlusal relationship is a secondary issue.
Here, a case without opposing teeth will be explained. ) When taking a wax impression using the tooth occlusal surface of the present invention (Fig. 4), first apply a wax separation agent to the abutment tooth (c) in the same way as before, and remove the wax using a forming tool. is softened with a flame from a burner or the like, and the abutment tooth (c) is coated with a layer of wax (Fig. 6 (1)).

Next, the occlusal surface body of the tooth of the present invention is placed on the portion corresponding to the occlusal surface while adjusting the balance of the tooth row (FIG. 6 (2)). Then, wax is applied to the buccal side (A), lingual side (C), and adjacent side (E) as usual, and then the entire wax mold is formed using a shaping tool (Figure 6 (3)). .

As described above, wax molding, which conventionally required much time and effort, can be performed quickly and easily by using the tooth occlusal surface of the present invention. As a result, dental cast crowns can be produced much more quickly than in the past, and this will make a significant contribution to the supply role in meeting the demand for dental care.
