It was not possible to fold it into a small size.Although aluminum material is light and has good color development, its elasticity is not suitable for temples, so it was rarely used for temples.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the joints 3, 4 of the front 1 and the temples 2 are each formed as a scissor bow, and the temples 2 are foldably connected to the front 1. Temple 2 is made of Ti-Ni that exhibits superelasticity.
It is an alloy, so even if it is deformed beyond its elastic limit, it will return to its original shape when the external force is removed. Therefore, it can be stored in a thin sack, which was previously thought to be impossible.

する。It is also possible to make part of the temple not entirely of superelastic alloy. In particular, if a superelastic alloy is used in a part of the temple to give it springiness, the remaining part can be made of aluminum, which is lightweight and has good color development. As shown in Fig. 3, the front end of the short superelastic alloy temple member 5 is screwed to the short aluminum temple member 2'' connected to the front 1 through the hinge 11, and the long aluminum temple member 5 is screwed to the rear end. Fix the temple member 2' with screws.
As shown in FIG. 4, the superelastic alloy temple MVr material 5
A threaded portion 5 is formed at the end of the aluminum temple member 2, and a female thread 8 is formed at the end of the aluminum temple member 2. A caulking shaft hole 10 is formed at the end of the aluminum temple member 2. The aluminum temple member 2' of the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 5 (not shown in FIG. 3) has both the elasticity based on the superelastic alloy temple material 5 and the natural coloring properties of aluminum foil.

にすることができる。As mentioned above, since the temples of the glasses of the present invention are partially or entirely made of a superelastic alloy, they can be folded and worn more compactly than conventional glasses. Further, since the necessary springiness of the temple can be obtained by a relatively short temple member made of a superelastic alloy, most of the temple can be made of aluminum, which has excellent color development.
