Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a plurality of exclusive readers corresponding to each data format, by providing two or more of exclusive detection sections with different data format, in a reader reading a content from a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Numeric OCR data (numeric data) 2 and an OMR data 4 are recorded on a card 1. When this card is inserted to a card insertion slit 18 of a reader 6, a microswitch is turned on, a motor 14 is driven, a roller 17 is turned via gears 15 and 16 to carry the card 1 to a detection section 7. それぞれの専用のデータ形式に対応した読取装置を必要
とするので、読み取り操作が2回以上となり、処理に時
間がかかる欠点があった。
