装置の印字試験方法において、印字打撃面にインク消去
可能な試験表面層な設けた試験用媒体上(二試験印字を

方法限らずインクジェット式プリンタ勢の印字試験にも
適用可能である。この試験表mjlZ上に試験印字を行
い印字を1iat後試験表面層2の表面を掃拭して印字
したインクを拭き覗りこの試験用媒体lを再び使用特に
インパクトプリンタの印字試験に用いるために第3図に
示すように特殊材料(9恢に触れると発色し一定時間g
遍徒発色が消えるインク、あるいは印字したインクを時
間経過とともに消去する化学材料)を封入したマイクロ
カプセル11を適嶺な溶剤lO中に混入してこれを媒体
基材8上にコーディングしたものを用いてもよい。印字
ヘッドの打撃4二よりマイクロカプセルが割れ印字が浮
き出し、ある一定時間経過すると印字した文字が消える
。従って、この試験用媒体を再び使用することができる

試験での媒体消費量な大幅に削減でき資源の節約および
コストの低下刃−達成される。
