Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for useless inquiry at failure of opposing stations and to increase the data transmission efficiency at failure generation, by giving a monitor function to each substation connected to bus transmission line. CONSTITUTION:A main station SVC-ST transmits a transmission data QST1 for inquiry to a substation S-ST1 at every prescribed time. After this transmission data is received at a relay device 21 in the S-ST1, it is inputted to a control section 24 via an interface 22. This control section 24 discriminates if the input data is a status list. If it is the status list, it is stored in a specific area of a memory 23. The control section 24 transmits the said new status list to the succeeding substation S-ST2 as a transmission data QST2. Thus, each substation forms the newest status list and judges if the data transmission to the opposing station can be made.
