CONSTITUTION:The articles other than the metered articles which are not within allowance limits and discharged by a discharging unit 4 are metered by the second and third metering units 9 and 11 through plus and minus line conveyors 8 and 10 arranged at the same level with an accumulation conveyor 15, the stock conveyors 12 and 13, the metering units 9 and 11, etc. After errors to the prescribed weight, etc. are memorized, they re conveyed to the conveyors 12 and 13 of the combination metering part formed of the metering units 9 and 11, the conveyor 15, the discharging units 14 and 16, etc. Then, the discharging units 14 and 16 are controlled corresponding to the optimum conbination based on the operation of weight in accoradance with the combinations of the number of articles to be packed and thereby the automatic packing according to the desired number is performed rapidly and accurately along the course from the conveyor 15 to a shute 17.
