Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an effective utilization of heat in a high temperature water intermittently generated by a convertor discharged gas processing device, etc. by a method wherein a float is arranged in a heat accumulator having a hot water nozzle at its upper part and a cold water nozzle at its lower part so as to prevent a natural convection flow between the hot water and the cold water.
CONSTITUTION: Cooling water 11 for convertor discharged gas enters into the upper part of a main body of the hot water accumulation unit through a circulation circuit 12, circuits 21, 22, discharges heat at a load part 19 through circuit 25, passed through the circuit 23 and enters into the lower part of the hot water heat accumulation unit 1. At this time, if hot water enters into the upper part of the hot water heat accumulator unit 1 shows a surplus volume of hot water, it may be accumulated in the heat accumulator unit 1. Then, during ono-operation of the convertor, the cooling water in the cooling unit 11 is circulated by a pump 14, and the accumulated hot water is supplied to the loading part 19 and returned back to the lower part of the accumulator 1. Thus, the float 5 is lifted up by an amount corresponding to the reduced volume of hot water, the cooling water at the lower part is increased by an amount corresponding to the reduced hot water. No variation in overall volume of accumulated water in the heat accumulator 1 is caused and inner pressure in the container is kept constant. Thus, no loss of heat occurs and an effective recovery of heat may be realized for further utilization.
