Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the unbalance between motors by a method wherein, when two motors are used for a machine, an overcurrent detector and a current difference detector are provided, and the notch leading of a secondary resistor is suspended by the operation of either of the detectors. CONSTITUTION:The lead or return of the notch of the secondary resistors 3 and 4 on the wound-rotor induction motors 1 and 2 in a twin-drive operation is performed by the manipulating motors 5 and 6 which are driven by controlling devices 7 and 8. Also, overcurrent detectors 12 and 13 are provided on the motors 1 and 2 respectively, and at the same time, a current difference detector is provided and connected to controlling devices 7 and 8 through OR circuits 15 and 16. Accordingly, the notch leading of the motor, whereon current is increased, can be stopped temporarily by giving ON state to either of overvoltage detectors 12, 13 and the current difference detector 14, and a smooth acceleration can be performed by eliminating the unbalance of the two motors while in a twin-drive.
