Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an ink ribbon cloth for dot printer which does not contaminate with ink nor produce feather at all by refining and setting high density texture formed of synthetic fiber multifilaments of special denier for both weft and warp and thermally pressing it.
CONSTITUTION: Both weft and warp are formed of synthetic fiber multifilament of 20W120 denier (preferably thermoplastic fiber of polyamide fiber), a high density texture of 150W220/inch of warp density and 100 to 140/inch of weft density are refined and set, and are thermally rolled under the pressure of 1W5kg/cm2 of gauge pressure, thereby causing the movement of the yarn and the reduction in the thickness of the yarn, and burying the lead mark of the texture. Thus, the cloth having no apparent lead mark is obtained. The thickness reduction rate is preferably 2W10%.
