Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of the manufacture of a magnetic head by cutting grooves in ferrite constituting magnetic core structures, and inserting and fixing metallic magnetic thin belts in the grooves. CONSTITUTION:A block 30 of Mn-Zn ferrite in a rectangular parallelepiped shape is used as high-magnetic-permeability ferrite, and in the block, the 1st grooves 31 wherein thin belts of amorphous alloy as metallic magnetic thin belts are inserted are formed. The 2nd groove 34 is formed crossing the grooves 31 at right angles. Then, the thin belts 35 of amorphous magnetic alloy are inserted into the 1st respective grooves in the large block 30, and fixed to be charged in the groove parts by heating and melting glass bars 36 arranged in the gaps of the thin belts 35. Then, a gap constitution surface 33 is ground and polished to form a flat specular surface as a gap constitution surface to manufacture a large composite block 37.
