Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent dust from scattering, by making a dust suction duct connected to the same air flow generating machine approach an opening part of a blow-out duct, and also providing a suction duct opening part on the duct which is positioned nearer a developing device of a picture formation device. CONSTITUTION:A developing device 3 contacting with a photosensitive drum 1 consists of sleeves 12-14 having a fixed magnet in the inside, a magnetic brush 15, screws 16, 17 for stirring a developer, etc., and is provided with dust-proof frames 21, 22 and a dust-proof seal 23. A dust collection device is installed near the frame 22 where the developer scatters severely. The dust collection device consists of a suction port 25a, a suction pipe 25, a filter 26, a blower 27, and a discharge port 29a having a member 30 which is bent to the inside through a discharge duct 29, and makes air containing the dust powder in the developing device circulate efficiently. In this way, this device suck up dust efficiently at the times a high speed operation, as well, and is capable of easily positioning the dust-proof frame, by said constitution.
