Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a vehicle from suddenly starting through its starting operation, by connecting accelerator and brake switches to the starter circuit of an engine with a full automatic mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: A starter circuit 18 comprises a starter motor 23, fixed contacts 19, 20, movable contact 21 and coil 22, and the both contacts are contacted by turning on a main switch 17 then the motor 23 is driven by excitation of the coil 22. Further to the coil 22, a normally-close accelerator switch 4, turned off when an accelarator pedal is depressed, and a normally-open brake switch 15, turned on when a brake pedal is depressed, are connected in parallel, at the time of starting operation its starting can not be performed unless the brake pedal is operated when the accelerator pedal is depressed.
