Abstract
PURPOSE: To stabilize the work of fabrication of a marine structure, etc., without resorting to floating crane in proper sea region and secure safety by a method in which the heavy main parts of a marine structure, e.g., a seabed oil excavating rig, etc., are assembled in a dry dock for building a new ship and also the remaining parts for high level are assembled in a dry dock for repair work.
CONSTITUTION: For the fabrication of a landing elevator type working platform P, blocks 6 is placed on the bottom of the dock, the working platform 1 is floated from the bottom, and an assembled support plate 4 is placed in place under the working platform 1 and supported by the blocks 6.
