Abstract
PURPOSE:To emit an adequate alarm despite presence of a false alarming gas by inputting the output signals from a detecting gas detecting part and a false alarming gas detecting part to logical circuits. CONSTITUTION:A gas detecting element 1a which is highly sensitive to gaseous buthane and gaseous methane and a gas detecting element 1b which is highly sensitive to steam and gaseous alcohol are connected respectively to resistances Ra, Rb, and the changes in the resistances of the gas detecting elements are converted to voltage changes Va, Vb. These voltages input to comparators 3, 4, 5. Since the reference voltage of the comparator 3 is set high, an output signal is generated only when the detecting gas of high concn. exists. The reference voltages V4, V5 of the comparators 4, 5 are set low, and generate outputs for detecting gas and false alarming gas of low concns. as well, but since the output of the comparator 5 is inverted by an inverter 7, an AND circuit 8 generates an output (d) only when the false alarming gas does not exist.
