Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve read-out and write control and to make a reproduced picture easy to see even when there is a varition in new and old pictures, by dividing the reproduced picture into the new and old pictures without interlacing the new and old pictures, when updating a picture signal. CONSTITUTION:A TV signal from a TV camera 1 is digitized by an A/D converting circuit 2, is stored in a frame memory 3 under the control of a controlling circuit 4, and contents of the memory 3 are read out and are transmitted to the receiving side at a transmission speed being suitable for the transmission line. Also, in the receiving side, the transmitted signal is stored in a frame memory 5 under the control of a controlling circuit 6, is read out repeatedly at a high speed, is converted to an analog signal by a D/A converting circuit 8, and a TV signal is inputted to a monitor 8. In case when a signal of the memory 3 is read out by this controlling circuit 4, or in case when a signal is written in the memory 5 by the controlling circuit 6, a scanning number is made a signal having no interlacing so as to become 1 2 3..., the reproduced picture is divided into two by new and old pictures, and the reproduced picture is made easy to see even when there is a variation in the new and old pictures.
