Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent clogging when mud is sucked from a mud drain groove by means of another pump in order to perform unloading in such a way of providing a means enabling to replenish outer water in large and proper amount using a pump through a branch pipe equipped with a plurality of control valves to the mud drain groove in the direction of the length of ship to communicate to the bottom of the mud hold.

CONSTITUTION: When unloading mud in the mud hold 15, outer water is sucked through an outer water suction valve 14 by means of a pump 13, voluminous water is replenished through a replenishing water main pipe 16 and a branch pipe 16a to a mud drain groove 17, at the same time, mud in the mud hold 15 is fallen down into the mud drain groove 17 by means of opening each opening 10 with door at the bottom part of the mud hold 15, mixed fluid is formed by water and mud, and the mixed fluid is sucked by means of a pump 12 before unloading through a mud drain pipe 21 and an unloading pipe 11. Besides, in case where clogging is produced on the way to the mud drain groove 17, if opening degree of a control valve 19 in the proximate branch pipe 16a is enlarged and replenishment of water is done concentratedly, clogging can be solved.
