Abstract
PURPOSE:To continuously and automatically record oscillation by projecting rays for tracking in horizontal directions and for measuring vertical movements from a fixing base, reflecting the rays for tracking in horizontal directions to the fixing base by a radio receiver on an oscillating object, and tracking the rays for measuring vertical movements. CONSTITUTION:An oscillator 1 is set horizontally on a fixing table. A lens 9 is directed toward the radio receiver 2 provided to an oscillating body such as ship, and infrared rays A are emitted from a light emitting diode 7. The infrared rays which is made incident to the retroreflection mirror 22 of the receiver 2 reflect and arrive at a horizontal type 2-segment photodiode 10, the output difference thereof drives a servomoter 13, so that the oscillator 1 automatically traces the mirror 22. The laser beam from an oscillator 11 passes through the lens 15 of the receiver 2, arrives at a vertical type 2-segment photodiode, and a servomotor 17 is driven so that the output difference thereof is eliminated. The reflecting mirror 22 is maintained at constant height by pulleys 18, 19, and a belt 20, and the extents of vertical movement are detected by a potentiometer 21 operating cooperatively with this. Thereby, the vertical movements are continuously recorded.
